Green-lipped mussel (Perna canaliculus) is a unique mussel that grows in the sea near New-Zealand. They are a natural source of omega-3 fatty acids, Glycosaminoglycans (GAG’s) glucosamin, chondroitin, amino acids, but also contain multivitamins and minerals.

Omega 3 fatty acids (especially EPA and DHA) are anti-inflammatory and directly and indirectly support the immunes ystem. In addition GAG’s, glucosamine and chondroitin are known building blocks for cartilage and synovial fluid, essential parts of the joint for fluid motion.

Moreover GLM also support muscle recovery by reducing creatine kinase and inflammatory mediator.
